We don’t use Hollywood scripts, we don't act like directors, we simply want to show what’s real between you two, the atmosphere and your happy guests who come to celebrate with you. We listen to you, we follow every small but important moment of your day, preferably without you even noticing.

Wedding Film
We made it simple. If you choose us, you're almost done. There are no hidden costs, you don't have to worry about our time limit or any other things.
- we work in pairs, so we can split up if we need to, or get key moments from multiple angles
- don't worry, we don't think in hours, we think in the story, so we're available from the end of the preparation until 1:00am
- fast post-production: we will send you the first version no later than the 40th working day after the wedding
- during post-production, we select the best shots of the day, then edit them to music, colourise them and put them together for you in a linear narrative. The finished film is typically between 9 and 12 minutes long, which we find is the length that allows enough time for everything to happen without over-explaining anything.

We can make your video more moving and colorfull with some eye catching drone footages too.
+ Highlights film
3-4 min cinematic highlights film with royalty free music, so you can share it everywhere without any problem. 9:16 reels are also possible.
+ Engagement video
If you like the idea, we arrive 1-3 days before the event, and make a 3-4 minutes long engagement video in a different location. (For example hiking, having a coffee, doing sports, etc. ).

Who we are?
Balázs Nagy
My name is Balázs Nagy, head of the Rotera Film. As a child, I was an active viewer of wedding videos, because my grandfather was a violinist in his village and my grandmother often watched the 4+ hour long VHS wedding videos, where he was playing. So when I started the company with friends, and we received our first wedding inquiries, I already knew: I want to make wedding videos that not only grandmothers would enjoy.
A lot has changed in the last 10 years, we were constantly looking for ways to make better films - and I think we succeeded. Like everyone, we are influenced by current fashion, but recently I've been getting into psychology and I've become more interested in people, relationships and emotions, not just pretty pictures. I'm looking for moments where these can be felt, because I believe that these are what make films timeless and personal. I think success has a price, not a secret - I believe in teamwork, I dare to ask for help and I keep my word.
I have many hobbies, but embroidery stands out among them. I have my own brand, Michsa, where I embroider souvenir caps and hoodies. The embroidered patterns show the squares, houses and districts of Budapest.

Daniel is a videographer, a saxophonist, composer, and producer based in Budapest. Renowned for his dynamic collaborations across new wave jazz, hip-hop, and beat-based genres, he is a pivotal figure in Budapest's contemporary music scene. Varga contributes his talents to acclaimed bands such as New Fossils, Mordái and Co Lee.

Always ready for adventures
We've had the pleasure of meeting countless couples from all over the world, from Tel Aviv to Boston. We've attended tiny weddings in Iceland and grand celebrations in Italy, celebrated New Year's in Paris, and weathered a storm on a Danish island. And to this day, we still eagerly set off on new journeys whenever a wedding is involved. I hope we get to meet soon!
